ABOUT ISL
The International Swimming League (ISL) is the first global professional swimming team-based competition. It was Founded in 2018 and currently consists of 10 teams:
- North America (Cali Condors, DC Trident, LA Current, NY Breakers, and Toronto Titans)
- Europe (Italy-based Aqua Centurions, Energy Standard,
- Hungary-based Iron, and the UK-based London Roar)
- Asia (Tokyo Frog Kings).
After Season 1, the ISL added two teams – Tokyo Frog Kings and Toronto Titans. Japan and Canada markets presently can’t seem to wander into because of the pandemic. If possible, they’ll be on the Season 4 slate.
ISL 2022
Interestingly, since its debut season in 2019, the International Swimming League (ISL) will be back in 2022. The association reported a 24-match plan for its fourth season on Friday. Keep in mind that the locations for the matches are still not set in stone. ISL Season 4 matches will happen in many different places across the globe.

The spread of COVID-19 and the prevailing uncertainties led postponement of the 2022 World Championships in Fukuoka, Japan, to 2023. This could give obstacles after the reported timetable, especially in the Asia/Pacific.
INFORMATION ABOUT PREVIOUS ISP SEASONS
In the ISL’s campaign in 2019, there were seven matches in seven distinct areas. Three in the U.S. also three in Europe before the finale was held in Las Vegas.
Season 2 extended to a 27-match plan for an assortment of areas. But, because of the COVID-19 pandemic and delay of the Tokyo Olympic Games, it turned into a shortened mission inside Budapest, Hungary.
The entire Season 3 was conducted in Naples, Italy. Afterward, the playoffs and finals were in Eindhoven, Netherlands. The finals were at first going to be elsewhere. Yet the ISL eventually chose to remain in Eindhoven and change the finale date to solve booking struggle for competitors with S.C. Worlds.
