So let’s know the recipe for making Kulcha-
Required Materials-
2 cups of flour
1 teaspoon of sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
A quarter teaspoon of salt
2 teaspoons of oil
A quarter cup of yogurt
Water (for kneading the dough)
4 tsp black sesame seeds/sesame seeds
cup coriander leaves (finely chopped)
2 tablespoons butter (for brushing)
Make kulcha like this
To make kulcha first prepare the dough. For this, add all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, salt and oil to a large bowl. Now mix with hand and then mix well with curd.
Now mix the flour with water as needed. Add water slowly and keep mixing. Knead it into a smooth and soft dough. Now leave the dough for about 2 hours.
After that it is time to make the kulcha. For this, first break the dough from the dough and flatten it slightly.
After that sprinkle some black sesame seeds and green coriander. With a rolling pin, gently roll it into an oval shape. Brush the top of the kulcha with water. Also, slowly flip the kulcha and keep it in the hot tawa.
Now after a minute invert the tawa and cook the kulcha on direct flame until it turns golden brown and puffs up. Remove the culcha by scraping gently from the bottom. Your kulcha is ready. After that brush some butter too. Serve with vegetables of your choice.
