HBO science fiction western series is coming back for season 4 as there are a lot more stories to be told. The announcement was made in the month of April 2020 by HBO in their official Twitter account, but however, too many details are not being disclosed. Some of the news sources have confirmed the news of season 4 and revealed that they would continue their broadcast for this season as well in the United Kingdom. However, there has been no confirmation about the official release date. As per the reports, the production is on hold due to the COVID crisis.
HBO’s president also mentioned that “From the Western theme park to the technocratic metropolis of the near future, we’ve thoroughly enjoyed every twist and turn from the minds of master storytellers Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy. We can’t wait to see where their inspired vision takes us next.”
Season 3 ended in with a man in black who was killed and replaced by a host who was controlled by Harlores. This will make the storyline of season 4 more interesting. At the beginning of the year the showrunner state that he is eagerly waiting for the new developments. He also mentioned that he just can’t wait to watch ED kill everyone.
Harries also quoted that he has no idea what the plan is for him, and all he knows is that he is teamed with Tessa. With an interview with Hollywood reporter Nolan said that this new season would have a different feel than other seasons, and they have a chance to easily play around, especially when at the moment when the television is constantly reinventing.
