Snowpiecer is a post-apocalyptic dystopian drama set to release season 3 today on Netflix. To everyone’s surprise, Melanie (Jennifer Connolly), who dies in season 2, returns out of nowhere in season 3 and might have a thrilling flashback. A new character has been introduced in season 3. The fall and the good wife star Archie Panjabi plays Asha (Survivor off the train), and a couple of new characters will also join the show.
SNOWPIERCER SEASON 3 PLOT
Executive Producer Becky Clements reveals little information about the new episodes.
Clements said, “There will be some chasing, but it will not be the full season. We definitely have a lot of narratives happening. There’s survival, there’s Melanie, there’s research on the train, and there’s the ultimate goal”.
In another interview, Clements said that the new season and episodes would have a time jump to show the new world order. All the series characters will find their new place in the new world. We will also know more about Josie (Katie McGuinness) and her powers in the new season.
Melanie’s character killed in season 2 seems to return in season 3, giving the audience mixed feelings. Jennifer Connelly will return in season 3 for sure.
Sean Bean discussed working together with Layton when the train reconnected, which affected Wildford’s reign. Bean said that the audience would be impressed by Mr. Wildford’s folding and witnessing an ulterior motive that is not simple. Sean Bean portrays the cunning and scheming side to the audience.
