Vikings season 7 “what lies ahead”

Ever since its debut in 2013, Vikings the historical drama series has been winning over the internet and fans. Viking is the most popular successful production of History TV. Created by Michael Hirst, this History TV’s action-drama series has released 79 episodes in total.

As of now, six seasons have aired, and the first part of season six finished airing in February 2020. With powerful acting performances, cinematography, and the story narrative the show has been a commercial success for the History Channel. Critics also acclaimed the show for its power-packed performances and screenplay.

Over its six seasons course, we’ve seen heart-wrenching invasions, the rise and fall of kings, and some heartwarming romances. While the show has managed its constantly rotating cast of characters over six action-packed seasons.  However, fans are still hoping for a change in the mood of producers. 

Vikings Season 7: Release Date

Although History channel has already confirmed the sixth season of Vikings will be the last of it. As of now, we don’t have the exact release date of the second half of the sixth season. While the sixth season of Vikings was split into two halves of 10 episodes each. The first half already aired in early 2020, and the second will premiere at a yet to be announced time before the end of this year.

Vikings Season 7: Possible cast

Since the show is going to end after the second half of the sixth season there isn’t a question of its cast and characters. But if we talk about the second half of the sixth season, we have pretty much information about the possible casts. There will be

  • Jordan Patrick Smith as Ubbe
  • Gustaf Skarsgård as Floki
  • Alex Høgh Andersen as Ivar the Boneless
  • Georgia Hirst as Torvi

What  after Vikings 7

  Before the confirmation of season 6 as the last for Vikings, A spin-off series is announced. Vikings: Valhalla is a collaboration between Netflix and MGM and will exclusively run on Former’s streaming platform. If we believe in the reports of “The Warp” Hirst will serve as an executive producer, while writing and showrunner duties will be picked up by Jeb Stuart.


Since the show got canceled, there won’t be a trailer for season 7. And those who have been waiting for the trailer of the spin-off series have to wait a bit longer as the production hasn’t begun yet. Till then Stay tuned with us.
