Russian Doll Season 2: Release Date
It has been confirmed by the streaming platform Netflix that the show is coming back for a second season. This was done via a tweet on June 11, 2019. While we were expecting the second season to drop by the mid of 2020, it seems highly unlikely because of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
At present, no official date has been made official by the producers of the show. We can expect the second season of Russian Doll to premiere in early 2021.
Russian Doll Season 2: Cast Update
The ensemble cast of Russian Doll from the season one of the series will be back for the renewed season. This will include Natasha Lyonne playing Nadia Vulvokov, Greta Lee as Maxine, Yul Vazquez will resume the role of John Reyes, Charlie Barnett will be back as Alan Zaveri, and Elizabeth Ashley as Ruth Brenner in Russian Doll Season 2.

A thoroughly enjoyable show with generous doses of dark comedy, Russian Doll is about Nadia Vulvokov, an independent software engineer but quite embittered with life. She takes a trip to New York City where she is to be the Guest of Honor, but something bizarre happens. Nadia unexpectedly dies but what is more weird is that she gets to once again live the night. Nadia is somehow caught in an endless loop of death which makes her relive the events repeatedly.
