Prince Philip Kicks The Bucket At 99



Prince Philip, the spouse of Queen Elizabeth II, has kicked the bucket at 99, Buckingham Palace said on Friday,9th of April.

“It is with profound distress that Her Majesty The Queen reports the demise of her darling spouse, His Royal Highness Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh,” the royal residence said in a proclamation.

The Duke of Edinburgh, as he was authoritatively known, had gone through about a month in a UK clinic recently to get treatment for an infection and have a heart procedure. However, he got back to Windsor toward the beginning of March.

He had been by the sovereign’s side all through her 69-year rule, the longest in British history.
