Making A Murderer Season 3- Will Netflix renew it for another season?

While it has been hinted that the series will be updated for the third season, nothing concrete has been made official. Netflix is yet to announce the renewal of the series for a third season. But we can expect Dassey and Steven Avery to be back. We can expect the series to release sometime in 2022.

Making a Murderer- Overview of The Show

The first part of the series is set between 1985 and 2007, and it depicts Avery’s arrest and conviction, his release in 2003, arrest in 2005, and the ensuing trial in 2007. Avery is charged with the murder of 25-year-old photographer Teresa Halbach. It also revolves around Brendon Dassey’s arrest, he is the nephew of Steven Avery and has been convicted on the charges of coercion and attorney ineptitude.

The second season deals with the period after the arrest of Avery and Dassey, focusing on their families. Laura Ricciardi and Moira Demos investigate into their cases to develop it into a well documented true crime docu-series.

Making A Murderer is a compelling show. We hope for its early renewal. Stay tuned with East of Seattle for more updates.
