Cult show “RTL Saturday Night” is coming back!
Back to the 90s, please!
The comedy classic “RTL Saturday Night” is coming back! And with (almost) all the stars from the original cast.
The broadcaster is planning a gala show entitled “The Reunion” with Olli Dittrich, Wigald Boning, Stefan Jürgens, Tanja Schumann, Tommy Krappweis, Mark Weigel and Esther Schweins. The whole thing is moderated by Hugo Egon Balder, who produced the show at the time.

Viewers can look forward to parodies, music and sketches, including classics such as “Two Chairs, One Opinion”, “News from Spocht” and “Die Doofen”. And of course cult gags and sayings like: “Kentucky screams f**cken” and “May I tit her on the bheke?”
The evening show will be moderated by the then producer Hugo Egon Balder. The broadcaster has not yet given an exact broadcast date for “RTL Saturday Night – The Reunion”.
But one thing is for sure…
Mirco Nontschew (✝︎52) – his colleagues will miss him
“It goes without saying that we also pay tribute to our friend Mirco Nontschew on the show,” Balder said in a statement.
Nontschew was part of the original cast from 1993 to 1998 and was considered one of the funniest comedians in Germany. On December 3, 2021 he was found dead in his Berlin apartment.
