The emollient seller Juan Osorio de la Cruz (53) passed away, early today, Wednesday, August 31, after the deflagration of a gas balloon inside his house, located in block five of the Teodoro Cárdenas jirón, in the Cercado de Lima.
According to the news program América Noticias, the man was preparing his breakfast at 5:00 am when a gas leak occurred where he was trapped in the kitchen area. In the building were his wife and his two children, who managed to evacuate.
One of his sons has suffered burns to one of his arms, for which he was transferred to the Casimiro Ulloa hospital. Two units of firefighters responded to the emergency.

“We feel the explosion. There were three explosions. We call the fire department immediately. It was like 5:35 in the morning. I heard that the neighbors were running, but I couldn’t go out because I was with my mother and my daughters. The lord couldn’t get out”, said a neighbor of the place.
Osorio de la Cruz owned three emollient carts that worked in the area of Santa Beatriz.
