In “El Bloque 8” they overflow with happiness after animating Colo Colo’s preview against Unión Española: “We are all colocolinos, it was an unforgettable experience”

Colo Colo defeated Unión Española for date 24 of the National Championship in a demonstration of good football at the Monumental Stadium. But also, minutes before the meeting, there was a musical show by the national band “El Bloque 8”.

The members of the tropical cumbia group fulfilled a dream by stepping on the grass of the David Arellano court and they made it known. In conversation with Dale Albo, Tatán, entertainer of the group, stated that it was “beautiful, I have been from Colo Colo since I was born, with my family all Colo Colo. I was coming to Arica for a long time, from bigger to Caupolicán and now in Oceano. I am proud to be here on behalf of my Colocolina family. We were very nervous, but it is an unforgettable experience that I will tell my children and grandchildren if God allows it”.

Regarding the nerves prior to the presentation, the group’s keyboardist, Morrón, expressed that “we went through all the processes. With the rain that was announced, we were uncertain if we would be able to play, but then all good. People were coming in, the emotion and vibration of the public and Colo Colo fan began, we were nervous but very excited because it is a dream come true”.

The show was very well received by the audience and the applause moved the band. This was confessed by Manu, the bassist of the national group who commented that the “The ovation was rich because we were afraid of the comments on social networks, but in El Bloque 8 we are all colocolinos, so imagine. Arriving at the field of the team of your loves, stepping on the field, which is a luxury, playing and then being applauded, the only thing we wanted after that was for Colo Colo to win and go home. To have played in the Monumental, to have stepped on the Monumental and to have won in the Monumental, a dream. Thanks to all the people of Colo Colo who made this dream come true”.

With the victory of the Albos against the Hispanics, Gustavo Quinteros’ team is getting closer to losing the title.
