This is what Sanna Nielsen’s father looks like – the unusual picture shows: “Cried a lot”

Summer is coming to an end and autumn is knocking. This means that the immensely popular Allsång at Skansen is over for this year. Tonight the last program of the season is broadcast – which will also be Sanna Nielsen’s last.

– I’m saying goodbye to something I’ve loved doing, but it still feels good to have decided. At the same time, I enjoy being on that stage so much. I know that I will once again have the most fun summer in the world and that I will stand there after the last program and think: “What have I done?”, she then told TT.

People’s favorite Sanna Nielsen broke through as an 11-year-old in 1996 when she performed the song “Til en fågel”. Later, she performed the same song at Skansen when Lasse Berghagen was the presenter. The career then continued upwards when she won the Melodifestivalen in 2014 and two years later, in 2016, she had the honor of leading Allsång at Skansen.

Nielsen’s father Christer and mother Ing-Marie divorced in 2011. The artist opened up about the tough time that followed in his summer talk in P1 2014.

– I have never cried so much in my entire life, she said.

And the relationship with the parents seems to mean a lot to Sanna Nielsen. She has previously repeated how much she appreciates father and mother and at the same time pointed out that it will be tough not to be with family during the summer.

In an emotional post on Instagram, she wrote beautifully on father Christer’s birthday:

“Big congratulations dear dad on his 70th birthday. My dad who is always close to laughing, always has a little joke going on and the kindest person in the world. Love you!”, wrote the artist.

We think the family relationship seems to be really wonderful between them!
