The new function has appeared in a few users who have a Google account. It allows you to create a bookmark using a new icon that appears in the results of a search.
For some users, a new icon has just appeared during Google searches on mobile. This is what our colleagues from 9To5Google found with the Chrome browser. This icon allows you to create a bookmark directly from the results of a search, as shown in the screenshot below.
When you touch this icon, a bar appears at the bottom of the screen to offer you to save the result in your favorites, or in another folder.
Saved results can then be viewed by going to your favourites, or the group you used. You can also consult them by going to the Google Collections page. The only constraint is to have a Google account.
The editor is currently in the test phase, which explains why the backup function is only available to certain users and only on mobile. Google has not given information on the availability date, or if the function will also be offered on computers. Note that you can already save the results of your searches if you use the Google application, but it would be much more practical to be able to carry out the operation directly in your browser.
