So it will be great news for Muslims that scientists have found a way to identify halal meat. Through which Muslims will know which meat is halal and which is haram.

Scientists at the National Research Center on Meat (NRCM) in Hyderabad have come up with a way to identify halal meat.

NRCM scientists first conducted the experiment on sheep using a halal process, then compared that portion of meat with electro-stunned lamb. After this test, the scientists found that the meat of the two lambs was different.

Apart from this, the scientists said, when the animals are cut, pressure is created in them, on the basis of which the meat can also be identified. He said, after this test, there is a big difference in the meat of the two dead sheep. He said there is a big difference between the two at the micro level.

If we talk about the first sheep that was halal, a specific group of proteins was found in its meat, whereas the second sheep’s meat did not. Scientists claim that this is the world’s first halal meat identification test. Halal meat can be identified based on blood biochemical parameters and protein composition (proteomic profile) tests, scientists said. This method of testing is called ‘difference gel electrophoresis’. Based on this, a distinction can be drawn between the muscle proteins of both meats.

 

Not only that, the scientists said that the meat can be identified based on the stress created in the animals before slaughtering them.
