Ingredients for making tandoori dhokla-
1 cup gram flour
1 teaspoon ginger paste
1/2 teaspoon fruit salt
1 teaspoon mustard
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 teaspoon red chili powder
1/2 teaspoon turmeric
1/2 cup yogurt
1 tbsp tandoori masala
2 sprigs curry leaves
Salt as required
How to make Tandoori Dhokla-
Add gram flour, turmeric, ginger paste, curd, fruit salt, 1/2 tsp tandoori masala, red chilli powder and salt to taste. Add water as needed and mix well to make a thick and smooth batter. Grease a round plate with some oil and pour the batter on it. Place it in a steamer, cover and steam for 10-12 minutes. Once done, take it out and let it cool. Cut tandoori dhokla into cubes and place on a plate. Now for tempering, heat oil in a pan, add curry leaves, mustard seeds and allow it to harden for one or more hours. Pour this tempering over the dhokla cubes. Finally, sprinkle 1/2 tbsp tandoori masala on top. Serve and eat tandoori dhokla with fried green chillies, tamarind chutney or any chutney of your choice.
