Public relations webdesk. Male ejaculation is influenced by female sex sounds
If you’re convinced that you’re always making women scream with pleasure in bed, you may be disappointed. Females seem to use shuddering, sighing and dirty talk to manipulate male ejaculation behavior to their advantage.
Researchers from the University of Central Lancashire and the University of Leeds examined the occurrence of sex noises, or copulatory vocalizations, and their relationship with orgasm in women. They recruited 71 sexually active, heterosexual women between the ages of 18 and 48 and asked them which sexual activities they were most likely to experience orgasms – for example during oral sex – and when they had sex. Make noise while doing this.
The researchers found that reported voices correlated with orgasm, but not with themselves. Although women’s sexual arousals were commonly experienced during foreplay, their coitus tone was reported to occur more frequently with male ejaculation.
Turns out, women make sex sounds to help their partners climax. 66% reported making noises to stimulate their partner’s ejaculation. Reasons include discomfort or pain, boredom, fatigue or time constraints. Remarkably, 92% believed these voices boosted their partner’s self-esteem and 87% reported using them for this purpose. According to the scientists, boosting men’s self-esteem “can strengthen couple bonds, reduce the risk of emotional infidelity and abandonment, resulting in continued wealth and security.”
But guys – don’t worry about this manipulative behavior. A male ejaculation that is affected by the noise of the female genitalia seems to be completely normal. In the animal world, Barbary macaques can only ejaculate when hearing sex sounds with the right intensity and speed.
