There are certain Genshin Impact forged weapons that are available by default, but in the case of Sumeru’s forged weapons, it’s not such an easy task. To get them, you’ll have to go through forest spirits, as well as finish all forging projects.
Altogether there are five forged weapons that we have in Sumeru that you can choose according to your preferences. To get them you will have to meet an NPC in Vanarana.
Genshin Impact 3.0: How to unlock Sumeru’s forged weapons
In order for Sumeru’s forged weapons to be unlocked, players must speak to Aravinay in Vanarana and pick up a weapon blueprint for the “Stories of You and the Aranara” quest. It takes a total of five stories to get all weapon blueprints.
NPC Aravinay is in front of the Tree of Dreams. If Aranara is not there, go to Silapna and travel from Real Vanarana to Dream Vanarana using the Vintage Lyre (Lira Vontage). Once all “Stories of You and Aranara” have been exchanged for “Stories of Aravinay”, the player will earn an achievement called “The Tale of the Forest”, which will grant 5 primogens.
How to get “Stories of You and Aranara”

- Dream Nursery (Aranyaka: Part II): Players will receive the story after meeting Araja. Here, Arama will hand travelers a Forest Adventure Journal called Aranyaka
- Vimana Agama: A Chapter of Aranyaka. The item will be added to the inventory right after the Travelers defeat the Electro Abyss Lector and deactivate the Ruin Guard’s Core.
- Varuna Gatha: A Chapter of Aranyaka. A Story of You and the Aranara is granted when Travelers learn the Rhythm of the Water Fountain.
- Agnihotra Sutra: Another chapter of Aranyaka. Solve the problem with Mawtiyima in the “The Final Chapter” sub-quest.
- Aranyaka: Part IV: Finish the questline to get the final stories of you and the Aranara.
Stats and “passives” of all Sumeru forged weapons

Most of Sumeru’s forged weapons serve as a way to grant an Elemental Mastery bonus, with the exception of the Bow and Catalyst. To forge them, it is necessary to use the corresponding “Midlander Weapon Billet” of the weapon, in addition to 50 Crystal Chunks and 50 White Iron Chunks.
You can get the Midlander Weapon Billet by defeating Sumeru’s weekly boss or by converting the Northlander Weapon Billet at the crafting table.
