The true black cat is the Bombay cat, which is an Asian cat and is all black. Descended from Burmese cats, this cat has an all-black coat, paws and nose with copper and green eyes. The black Bombay cat of Asian origin should not be confused with the American cat of the same name, which is a more recent breed of cat dating back to 1958.
So do black cats bring good luck or bad luck? You could be both. The next time you see a black cat, be vigilant lest something bad happen and maybe something good happens instead!
