Due to pitha imbalance, digestive fire starts to weaken and problems of indigestion, constipation, acidity occur. Sour, Spicy, Sour, Spicy foods increase pitha problem.

According to Dr. Neetu, acidic foods contain more acid juice, which increases pitta dosha. Pitta dosha causes digestive problems. This causes pimples or acne.

Acidic juices affect the digestive system

Acidic acid-forming foods, if consumed in excess, can make your body vulnerable to various skin conditions, including acne and pimples.

This is because residual traces of acid affect gut health. Because of this, the nutrients you eat are not properly digested.

Yogurt can also be sour and aggravate pitta dosha. In addition to yogurt, dairy products such as high-fat milk, cheese, and ice cream can also trigger acne.

Casein present in dairy products can act to activate the sebum glands, which can increase the problem of acne and pimples.

Eat citrus fruits in moderation

Ayurveda expert Vikas Chawla of Vedas Cure says, “Citrus fruits do not cause acne and pimples. Citrus fruits contain vitamin C, which boosts the body’s immune system.

Eating too much citrus fruits is likely to increase inflammation of the skin. It can cause skin irritation, acne or pimples. Dr Vikas further explains, citrus fruits are beneficial, but should be consumed in moderation to avoid acne. Oranges, grapefruits and lemons are good choices among these fruits. Nutrients like vitamin C and zinc are present in abundance in these fruits, which make your skin healthy from within.

Apart from these, vitamin E serum can also be used. But before using the serum, you must consult a doctor.
